Elkka has revealed a debut EP Her and its lead track 'Try'. Out now on her own Femme Culture label, it's an intensely hypnotic, garage-tinged cut that lodges powerfully between the ears thanks to its shuffling, arcade game beat and a gently haunting refrain, providing the bed for increasingly unusual vocal work. Co-produced with Pop Morrison, it's a 90’s-infused first display of Elkka’s music, and an intriguing introduction into the London newcomers' pop world. -G.O'B
